On the cover of Vogue for March 2025, Sabrina Carpenter radiates Madonna-inspired glamour. The 25-year-old actress and singer looks breathtaking in a bespoke baby blue cone bra minidress by Dolce & Gabbana, echoing the legendary silhouette that Madonna popularized during the ’80s and ’90s. Her striking platinum blond curls further complement this tribute to the now 66-year-old pop icon known as the ‘Material Girl.’

Madonna was known to wear the pointy silhouette during her heyday in the ’80s and ’90s.

Captured by acclaimed photographer Steven Meisel, Carpenter poses in this provocative, lingerie-style outfit, complete with lace-up features that tastefully reveal her skin.

In additional images featured in the Vogue spread, Carpenter showcases her elegance in a strapless butter yellow gown by Prada, adorned with dazzling Graff diamonds, and dons a striking red lace Gucci dress matched with feathered heels.

Carpenter has a history of drawing influence from celebrated feminists and retro fashion. Recently, she paid tribute to Goldie Hawn during her performance at the 2025 Grammys. Moreover, she made a fashion statement at the 2024 VMAs by wearing an archival Bob Mackie gown originally worn by Madonna during the 1991 Oscars, accompanied by Michael Jackson at the time.

She sported a rich red see-through lace Gucci number, too.

In her discussion with Vogue, Carpenter opened up about her Grammy-winning album, Short n’ Sweet, which garnered six nominations and led to two wins, including Best Pop Solo Performance for “Espresso” and Best Pop Vocal Album.

“This album truly reflects who I am,” Carpenter explained. “There’s no persona—it’s just an amplified version of myself.”

She continued, “It’s fascinating because my fashion often leans towards a ’60s aesthetic, yet when I engage with my audience, I remain authentically me.”

The March 2025 edition of Vogue, featuring Sabrina Carpenter, will be available on newsstands starting February 25.
